School and work. Two separate universes? We believe not.
On the contrary, we are convinced that it is essential to foster the meeting between the world of study and business.
For students, it is an opportunity to touch the working reality, to “feel”, in preview, the work, their future. For companies, it is an opportunity to contaminate themselves with fresh ideas and open minds. How, then, to miss this opportunity?
After opening its doors to international students from CIMBA ‘s Master’s in Business Management program in Asolo and several local high schools, in November SAC Serigrafia had the pleasure of welcoming students from thePalladio Institute in Treviso at the PMI Day organized by Piccola Industria di Confindustria.
The day began in our “Contamination Room,” with a viewing of the 50th anniversary video and a few words about who SAC is and what it does. The kids then visited the heart of the company, the printing and packaging area, to get a close look at the screen printing universe, how the machinery works and how the staff works. Finally, they witnessed the live printing of the event’s souvenir labels.
In short, a different day: a day of “work” experienced by learning, to be followed by others in the coming months.
