In addition to being designed for aesthetic feedback, they are created to be extremely functional and durable through the use of printing inks with high chemical and mechanical resistance.
Over the years we have acquired enough know-how to be able to guarantee our components extreme resistance to premature wear and tear. In the medical industry, where aggressive cleaning products are often used, the mechanical and chemical stress to which electronic part covers are subjected is frequent, so classic front panels are no longer sufficient but superior printing technology is required.
The ultimate goal of our realizations is not only functional, but is to make components integrated with the product design. For example, hospital furniture might require an aesthetic component such as a wood effect coordinated with the rest of the furniture, or the presence of electronic components with embossed keys, not only printed, which guarantee better functionality and which we are able to create thanks to the continuous research and innovation we carry out in our R&D laboratories.
Antibacterial solutions
In these years of research we have developed solutions that offer an antibacterial guarantee to customers who seek total safety of devices and all “touch” surfaces. We have therefore introduced front panels with antimicrobial action, ideal for the medical sector and in all those uses where the tactile component requires the utmost attention to safeguard health.
Our antibacterial solution provides constant protection against bacterial and fungal contamination, fully compliant with ISO 22196.
Screen printing in the medical industry
An industry such as the medical industry requires careful attention in the selection of the best materials and meticulous control in product manufacturing processes. It is an industry for which mechanical performance, chemical resistance and low levels of contamination are paramount.
Indeed, there are different needs, to which we respond by offering a range of functional as well as aesthetic solutions, two indispensable features for us, which fully meet the characteristics of this sector.
As we have seen in the previous article, SAC screen printing offers diversified solutions to meet every need, from 3D printing, thick, resin-coated, and punched labels, to metal printing, and even making front panels for electronic equipment.
In addition, for products used in hospital facilities, we propose aesthetic cover panels for bed rails, headboards, footboards, bedside tables, to which it is always possible to apply different customizations such as finishing with specific colors (Pantone, RAL, by sample), direct application on the chosen material or, again, the choice of performance materials depending on the use such as polycarbonate, polyester, polypropylene.
