SAC Serigrafia SRL is a leading screen printing company for the national territory, and is oriented to improve the skills of its workers for the improvement of business processes in a logic of management and control of production processes and organizational and management systems.

This is why the project of introducing new types of machinery and renewing the existing fleet of machines has been undertaken to enable more and more customer-level production and eco-sustainability of production to meet modern challenges both at the market and environmental levels.

Specifically, the project covered 4 lines:

• Introduction of new innovative production technologies to enable targeted production on customer needs.
• Refurbishment of machinery that is not yet responsive to the Industry 4.0 concept to enable its recovery and integration with the company’s IT system
• Software and firmware renewal of plants, custom-built to enable easy response to different customer requirements and make work easier for operators by streamlining plant functions.
• Energy renovation of the company to meet emerging environmental and production needs through the introduction of a microclimate management system for materials supported by a new photovoltaic system equipped with an accumulator, so as to bring about a containment of environmental impact and improved energy efficiency throughout production.

The project is part of a larger piece, consistent with the Enterprise Digital Plan

aimed at a new drive toward internationalization and business innovation, to attract new potential customers who have special needs and requirements, and to increasingly reduce the environmental impact of activities.

The project was supported through the grant of public support of 52,770.24 euros.
