The 4.0 revolution at SAC Screen Printing has involved the entire company and on multiple fronts:
- Soft Skills – All employees take in-depth courses on heterogeneous topics. Soft skills are indeed necessary in the age of Industry 4.0, but job and personal growth is also the first key to continuous improvement!
- Vertical Warehouses – SAC Serigrafia has equipped itself with 3 vertical warehouses: for raw materials, inks and finished products. A real revolution in storage management and corporate intralogistics. Less risk of error and more speed: each piece has its own code and it only takes a click to store or receive it.
- Management systems-CRM, state-of-the-art management system, MES: from production to sales, everything is connected, time and costs are quantified, and answers come in real time.

The first major advantage for us comes from coordination between departments: it improves the organization of orders for the sales area but also the management of the PO (Production Order) for the production manager, just as the knowledge of production costs and lead times becomes more accurate.
Given also the strong craftsmanship component of our work and the impossibility of defining a single production line, thanks to new systems and Big Data we are able to have in detail a clear representation of the processes taking place.
