On the occasion of our 55th anniversary, we would like to take stock of industrial screen printing, recounting the state of the art of current processes and technologies serving the needs of the market and customers.
What we want to offer you is a small insight into today’s SAC Screen Printing, between Lean and Industry 4.0, between complex challenges and precise solutions!
Industrial screen printing 4.0
From “smart” management systems to vertical warehouses, new technologies are giving industrial screen printing a new edge.
Thanks to Big Data and “connected” systems, order and process management has become faster and more efficient.
A real advantage when one considers that the production of “high innovative value” screen printing products often requires the simultaneous use of different machinery, techniques and materials.
But what are the benefits of ascreen printing 4.0 company for customers?
-
- Reduced lead time
- Accurate budgets and budgets
- Detailed bids and lower costs
- delivery optimization
10 years of Lean
In addition to our 55th this year we are celebrating another important anniversary: the 10-year anniversary since the introduction of Lean Production.
SAC Serigrafia was among the pioneers of screen printing companies in Italy that chose to adopt its principles, and today, 10 years later, we can truly say: thank you Lean!
It has made us more precise but also more flexible. It has allowed us to reduce waste, cost and lead time. It has enabled and enables us to innovate without fear of slowing down workflows.
In a highly complex industry such as industrial screen printing, Lean has brought with it an incredibly valuable value: simplicity.
And the work of improvement naturally continues.
With the “SpaghettiChart,” the mapping that allows us to visualize the physical flows and movements of operators, we are making strides to bring even more order and efficiency to the 3500 square meters of our headquarters!
Research and Development
In SAC Serigrafia’s R&D laboratory, these two “souls” coexist.
On the one hand, technicians experiment with new materials, techniques and inks in order to offer increasingly unique effects and customized screen printing products.
On the other hand, machinery such as the thermal chamber or QUV Test allow products to be “stressed” and tested to meet the quality and wear resistance criteria required by specifications.
These are the advantages of industrial screen printing:
a range of resources capable of offering that extra quality and precision that makes all the difference, in small as well as large projects.
